Goal of Eyelid (Blepharoplasty) Surgery

The goal of eyelid surgery is to brighten-up your eyes and to recreate a more youthful and less tired look.

Limitations of Eyelid (Blepharoplasty) Surgery

There are limitations to eyelid surgery.  The internal and external structures of your eyelids dictate the limitation of  what can be done.  In addition, you can not prevent continued aging after the surgery, and you can not recreate "young" skin..

Candidate for Eyelid (Blepharoplasty) Surgery

A good candidate for eyelid surgery is any patient with eyes which have the tell-tale signs of aging.  The patient should also be in good health and have realistic expectations.
